Forbes has just reported the list of 2000 biggest companies in the world – Global 2000 ranked on 4 scales: sales, profits, assets and market value.

Vietnam has 5 representatives in this list, this has been the most number, including Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Hoa Phat, BIDV, Techcombank. ⅘ Vietnamese enterprises in Global 2000 are operating in the banking sector, only Hoa Phat is a manufacturer.

Total capitalization of 4 Vietnamese banks in the list gained USD 46.84 billion

Global 2000 recorded a total of USD 466 trillion in revenue, USD 5 trillion in profits, USD 2337 trillion in assets, and USD 765 trillion in market capitalization.

There are 58 countries represented in the 2022 list, of which the top 590 companies are in the US, followed by 351 companies in China (including Hong Kong) and 195 companies in Japan.
